Re-design

First up, we’ve redesigned our Game Pages to match the rest of the website. That means a sleeker, more cohesive experience when browsing our titles because great games deserve a great presentation!

Introducing: Splatter Storm

Our latest game, Splatter Storm, is shaping up to be our most action-packed release yet! Think high-speed chaos, vibrant colors, and a whole lot of messy fun. We can’t wait for you to dive in and get your hands (virtually) dirty!

Bringing Back the Classics

We’re also working on incorporating more of our old games into the website! Whether you’re feeling nostalgic or discovering them for the first time, these classics deserve a spot alongside our latest projects. Stay tuned as we bring them back, better than ever!

What's Next?

Our main focus now is wrapping up Splatter Storm and putting the finishing touches on the website. Once that’s done, we’ll be shifting gears towards even bigger projects—so stay tuned!

As it is a new year, and we have not quite found a style we have liked for our website. We've resumed efforts to remedy this. We first began efforts to explore different logo styles until we found one we adored.

Thankfully, we have done that. New logo, new us! However, with the new logo's design, we came to realise that the website was no longer suited for such a powerful logo. And so a re-design has begun. We found a cool and fitting background image to use for the website's main areas, and now we must explore ways to change the font colour, style and all around design so that it fits with the entire style.

After the font has been adjusted, we'll try and find a way to adjust the game pages. However, game pages may stay the same due to them needing to fit the style of the game.

Today, we have added more game pages for past games which we had a hand in creating. Starting with Realm Runner and ending with Wrap It Up.

Realm Runners is a platforming-action-puzzle adventure where you will explore different dimension to retrieve lost fragments, the source of life in this universe. Hurry! You must save this reality from the threat lurking within the dark. This game was published in July 2023. You can explore the project here.

Wrap It Up is a puzzle based christmas game. Your job is to help
Santa Clause Save christmas. By collecting resources and using those
materials to slowly develop toys, ready for christmas

We have also upgraded parts of the website, this being. Instead of 4 selected screenshots under the banner on a game page along side a gallery of screenshots at the bottom of the page. We have decided to list a few decent screenshots along the right hand side of the game page. So as you are reading the game description and details, you may have a visual understanding of what the game is.

And that is all we have added and updated today! Stay tuned for more updates.

Today, we have been editing our first games page, which at the moment is called Project: Blizzard. And we have been inputting information such as small descriptions, placeholder images and more. Information which is on the page, is limited and as cryptic as possible. So that we do not give too much of the game away. As that's what a trailer is for.

Seems that this is the first ever news article for The Wi.Bi History page, we'll first outline what is Wi.Bi Studios. Wi.Bi Studio is pronounce like We.Be Studios, it sounds nicer that way. Wi.Bi Studios is a family owned indie studio, Wi.Bi stands for Wilson & Bingham, because these are the surnames to both sides of the family, and these are the two surnames to the co-founders. Liam & Tristan.

Liam started making games in september of 2022 because he began studying a games programming course, to bring the vision of Wi.Bi Studio to life. And because Liam started making games, he asked his cousin who is also a game enthusiast if he'd be willing to learn and help bring their visions to life. Much to Liam's surpise he said yes. This cousin goes by the name of Tristan.

Tristan began learning blender and 3D modelling in late 2022, same as Liam, it's unsure on the specific date this decision was made. Tristan didn't go to university, or college to learn 3D modelling. He started to teach himself through the use of YouTube tutorials or generally experementing within the blender software. Soon, he will be begging a college course to learn more on blender and other softwares which could be used for 3D modelling.

It took both Liam and Tristan, probably more time than they care to admit to figure out the name of their newly found studio and also the logo design for their newly found studio. There were many names before Wi.Bi Studio, it cannot be remembered what the previous names were but they are glad they ended up with Wi.Bi Studios though. As of this entrys date, Wi.Bi Studio does not have an official game created by both Tristan and Liam. However, Liam has created few projects through his university years, which you can check out HERE

This news update is not just for today, it is also for the re-development of the website. For we'll discuss the website re-design, why we changed the style and why we thought the change would be a great idea, then we'll discuss the games which have been added because of the re-design as well as the games which we are working on.

First the website, we thought a re-design of the website would be a great idea because the website which we had was a red & blue gradient and to be honest we kinda wanted a more modern looking website so the plan was set in motion to re-design the site and provide a more sleeker look into it.

Upgrades to the website are; a new style, a new box layout and colour, a news area on the home page, and more games added into the project list. There is in the projects list, a section for all projects developed during my time in uni, this includes projects which are broken, projects which are working, group projects and even gamejam projects I had a helping hand with during my university time.

And now the moment you have all been waiting for. What are we working on? Well to be honest it is too early to give to much a way. But what I will say is you'll love it. It'll be online Co-Op 1-4 players. It'll involve a train, exploreation, building and so much more.. So, stay tuned..
